You\u2019ve tried to foam roll and stretch it but its still hanging around like a bad smell.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Disaster!<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>But it\u2019s not a disaster, you just need some help and guidance on how to manage and train around small niggles and injuries.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>First thing you need to realise is there is no positive outcome in playing the blame game. You got injured, beating yourself up about it isn\u2019t going to help, and you can\u2019t turn back time so turn your attention forward and focus your energy on getting better.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>So what now? Well it\u2019s time to get to work. The beauty of injuries and pain is that with a little reframing, you can start to use them as an opportunity to get better and become a better athlete. Just because you are \u201cinjured\u201d doesn\u2019t mean you have to stop training all together. In fact, a good rehab program will feel exactly like training normally does.
